Find the Fun

When we started getting more active on social media, it felt like a daunting task. The idea of posting every day and putting together a strategy and keeping up with it stressed me out and on top of that I don’t really want to be on social media because I don’t like the way it works and the content the algorithms appear to reward. Honestly, it just bummed me out to even think about it.

We’ve been posting a unique video 32 days in a row now and I gotta say, I’m having a pretty good time. I think it’s mostly because I was able to change my perspective a bit. Once I started thinking about it as just another way to express ourselves, just some more examples of who we are I was able to let go of the feeling that we had to go viral. I’m not counting on any of these videos to be the video that gets us a million followers. Most of the time I’m just trying to make myself and Understanding laugh. Anything more than that is gravy.

In conclusion, I was really dreading doing this thing until I was able to find the fun in the experience and now I’m having a great time, and it’s a lot easier to get it done. Give it a shot next time you have to do something you don’t want to.
