Nothing To Say

Sometimes there are days where you find yourself with nothing to say. Nothing important, nothing profound, nothing to complain about, not even a funny joke to share.

That’s totally fine. Just sit there in your silence and reflect. Consider all the things you’ve already said and the impact those things have had, likely without your knowing it. Then think for a second about all the things you’re going to say in the future. All the help and comfort you’ll offer to people you love. All the arguments you’ll have in the moments you feel compelled to stand up for yourselves. All the laughs you’ll share with friends and all the pain you’ll have to open up about. That’s going to be a lot!

So take this moment where you have nothing to say and sit with it. Enjoy that stillness. It’s sacred.
